We had a huge pile of accumulated twist ties and I have been expanding my basketmaking skills over the past year, so it seemed natural to make a nest and put a couple of eggs in it. I like the contrast of the light but solid nest with the denser texture of the rose petals.
Nest made from twist ties, stiffened with acrylic medium, with two paper eggs covered with rehydrated rose petals (attached to the nest with wire).
