Flax Paper over Wire Sculpture and Jewelry
I am intrigued by the combination of geometry and randomness in natural forms, how patterns dissolve into and echo each other. Whether sculpture or jewelry, my work explores the juxtaposition of interior and exterior spaces, light and shadow.
These pieces are all made with handmade overeaten flax paper shrunk over wire armatures (usually steel).
